AI TUTORIAL
On-Page SEO Mastery with ChatGPT

Unlocking the full potential of your website's search engine optimization is crucial in today's digital landscape, where visibility equates to success.

If you're grappling with the intricacies of On-Page SEO, you're not alone. Many struggle to find the sweet spot where their content not only resonates with their audience but also ranks favorably on search engines.

But what if there was a way to master this balance?

This is where ChatGPT comes in – a groundbreaking tool that transforms the SEO game.

Whether you're a seasoned SEO expert or just starting, understanding how to leverage ChatGPT for On-Page SEO can transform your strategy, driving more traffic and engagement to your site.

Let's dive in.

First, you need to understand how important it is.

Good on-page SEO makes your website easier to read and use, which can lead to more people visiting and staying on your site.

Remember, this is not only for the search engines.

Why? Because search engine algorithms also depend on user experience (i.e., how users behave on your site).

Key Elements to Address in On-Page SEO:

  1. Use H1 tag for your main title.

  2. Include the current year in your title.

  3. Use H2-H6 headings in your content.

  4. Write keyword-rich meta descriptions.

  5. Align content with search intent.

  6. Use your target keyword in the first 100 words.

  7. Prioritize content above the fold.

  8. Balance keywords throughout your content.

  9. Consider user experience in your website design.

  10. Optimize your URL.

  11. Use branded images.

  12. Optimize images with alt text.

  13. Use internal and external linkings.

That’s a lot. I get it.

So to write a blog post while following these key elements, these are the actions you need to take:

  • Title with H1 Tag: Make sure your main title uses an H1 tag and includes your target keyword.

  • Year in Title: Adding the current year to your title can make your content seem more up-to-date. (optional)

  • Use H2-H6 Headings: These help break your content into sections, making it easier to read and understand.

  • Keyword-Rich Meta Descriptions: Write clear summaries of your content with keywords to improve search visibility.

  • Align Content to Search Intent: Create content that answers what people are searching for.

  • Target Keyword in the First 100 Words: Include your main keyword early in your content to show its relevance.

  • Prioritize Content Above The Fold: Place important information where visitors see it first.

  • Balance Keywords Throughout Content: Use keywords naturally throughout your content without overdoing it.

  • Prioritize User Experience (UX): A simple, easy-to-navigate website layout is key for keeping visitors on your site.

  • Optimize Your URL: Keep URLs short and descriptive.

  • Use Branded Images: Images with your brand help with recognition and trust.

  • Optimize Images: Use alt text for images and keep file sizes small for faster loading.

  • Internal and External Linking: Link to other pages on your site and to reputable external sites to provide more value and context.

So, based on these key elements and best practices, I created a ChatGPT Prompt.

This prompt will help you generate content based on the keyword you provided while following the best practices of On-Page SEO.

Here is the prompt:

Act as an SEO expert and write a blog post titled '[Your Blog Post Title]'. Ensure the post adheres to the following On-page SEO best practices:

Title with H1 Tag: Use '[Your Blog Post Title]' as the H1 tag for the main title.

Year in Title: If relevant, include the current year in the title to emphasize the content's timeliness.

Use H2-H6 Headings: Structure the content with clear subheadings to break down different aspects of [Main Topic or Keyword].

Keyword-Rich Meta Descriptions: Create a concise meta description that includes relevant keywords related to [Main Topic or Keyword].

Align Content to Search Intent: The content should provide valuable information for readers looking for guidance on [Specific Aspect of Main Topic or Keyword].

Target Keyword in the First 100 Words: Include keywords like '[Primary Keyword]', '[Secondary Keyword]', and '[Tertiary Keyword]' early in the content.

Prioritize Content Above The Fold: Place key information and engaging points in the first visible section without scrolling.

Balance Keywords Throughout Content: Use relevant keywords naturally throughout the post without stuffing.

Prioritize User Experience (UX): Write in a clear, engaging, and easy-to-read manner.

Optimize Your URL: Suggest a short, descriptive URL like which include the main keyword

Use Branded Images: Include images related to [Main Topic or Keyword], preferably branded or unique to your blog.

Optimize Images: Provide alt text for each image, describing what the image is about (assume that I have included five pictures related to the content, so provide me with five alt text separately at the bottom of the article)

Internal and External Linking: Include links to other related posts on your blog and authoritative external sources on [Related Topic or Keyword]

How I have used this prompt:

Just copy the prompt, add your keyword, and try it.

It may not give a very long post; in that case, specify the length of the post you want.

Also, you can ask ChaGPT to provide only the outline first. Then you ask ChatGPT to write one part at a time. This way, you will be able to get a more in-depth and detailed post.

I hope you find it helpful.
